Fall Transportation Safety Fair

Stop by the annual Fall Transportation Safety Fair for a bike skills course, helmet fittings, giveaways, free snow cones and other fun activities!

Bike Safety and Skills Course for Kids

• Who: Children 12 and under will learn about bicycle safety from Boulder Police Officers.

  • Participants in the bicycle skills course are required to be accompanied by an adult to complete the registration form and sign a release and waiver form. Forms will also be available at the event.

• Where: Meet outside in the North Boulder Recreation Center parking lot.
• What to bring: Participants need to bring their bike and safety gear.
• Helmet giveaways! Free new bike helmets will be available while supplies last.

Transportation and Mobility Department staff will also hold community engagement for ongoing projects.

• Tell us your experiences traveling on Iris Avenue! The Iris Avenue Transportation Improvements Project will identify and implement ways to make Iris Avenue between Broadway and 28th Street safer, more connected and more comfortable.
