Boulder Police Investigating Serious Crash
BOULDER, Colo. – The Boulder Police Department is investigating a serious crash that occurred last night between a motorcyclist and a bus.
Just before 6 p.m., officers were called to the intersection of Broadway and Lee Hill for a report of a crash involving an RTD bus and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist—a 37-year-old male—was taken to the hospital in critical condition. He remains in critical condition today.
The bus driver—a 66-year-old male—remained on scene and was not injured. There were three people on the bus when the crash occurred, and none of them reported any injuries.
The preliminary investigation indicates the bus was making a westbound turn on to Lee Hill Drive from northbound Broadway. The motorcyclist was riding southbound on Broadway.
Boulder Police are looking for additional witnesses or video surveillance in the area that may have captured any information related to this crash. Anyone with any information is asked to call Officer Shepherd at 303-419- 9943 or Officer Bergh at 720-648-0546 reference case 22-9246.
