Child Dies After Being Struck by Car

In observance of the winter holidays, the City of Boulder is adjusting its operations schedules.
The Boulder Police Department is investigating a fatal car crash after a vehicle struck a child who later died at the hospital yesterday.
At approximately 5:20 p.m. on Monday, May 13, officers were called to an apartment complex in the 700 block of 29th Street for a report of a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado pickup that had struck a 2-year-old female. The 24-year-old male driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
A witness drove the injured child and her father to the hospital. She died a short time later.
The initial investigation indicates that the toddler was walking through the parking lot with her father when she was struck.
