In observance of the winter holidays, the City of Boulder is adjusting its operations schedules over the next two weeks. The following provides detailed information, by date.

Upcoming Closures

Friday, Dec. 22

  • All city offices and the West and East Age Well Centers will close at noon.
  • Recreation centers, Flatirons Golf Course and Boulder Reservoir will remain open, with regular hours.
  • Parking will be free in city garages, parking lots and at on-street meters starting at noon.
  • The city’s Parking & Access front office will be closed all day, and the HOP bus schedule will be impacted.

Sunday, Dec. 24

  • Flatirons Golf Course and Boulder Reservoir will be closed all day. North Boulder Recreation Center and the East Boulder Community Center will close at 1:30 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 25

  • All city offices, the West and East Age Well Centers, all recreation facilities, Flatirons Golf Course and Boulder Reservoir will be closed.
  • Parking will be free in city garages, parking lots and at on-street meters all day.

As a separate reminder, all libraries, including branch locations, are closed from Tuesday, Dec. 19 through Monday, Dec. 25 to allow for the transfer and installation of technology as the library prepares for its launch as a district in January.

Friday, Dec. 29

  • All libraries, including branch locations, will be closed all day.
  • All city offices and the West and East Age Well Centers will close at noon.
  • Recreation centers, Flatirons Golf Course and Boulder Reservoir will remain open, with regular hours.
  • Parking will be free in city garages, parking lots and at on-street meters starting at noon.
  • The city’s Parking & Access front office will be closed all day, and the HOP bus schedule will be impacted.

Sunday, Dec. 31

  • Flatirons Golf Course and Boulder Reservoir will be closed all day. North Boulder Recreation Center and the East Boulder Community Center will close at 1:30 p.m.
  • All libraries, including branch locations, will be closed all day.

Monday, Jan. 1, 2024

  • All city offices, the West and East Age Well Centers, Flatirons Golf Course and Boulder Reservoir will be closed.
  • North and South Recreation Centers will be closed, but the East Boulder Community Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Community members are invited to the free annual New Year’s Fitness and Wellness Fest at EBCC from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Parking will be free in city garages, parking lots and at on-street meters all day.
