Here’s some need-to-know information for the week:

Two major events to coincide in Boulder this weekend

The upcoming weekend is expected to be a busy and fun one, with two signature events occurring around town.

Boulder Creek Festival

The 34th annual Boulder Creek Festival will be held Friday, May 26 through Monday, May 29, and features music, food, art and family-friendly experiences. The festival is located along Boulder Creek from 9th to 14th streets, between Canyon Boulevard and Arapahoe Avenue.

Impacts to city facilities began today, and include parking closures at the Atrium building, Main Boulder Public Library, Penfield Tate II building, and the New Britain and Park Central buildings. Parking is available at the city’s public garages downtown. Attendees are encouraged to utilize alternative transportation to and from the event, such as biking, walking or public transportation.
