The city has released a new episode of “Let’s Talk Boulder,” a City of Boulder podcast exploring complex topics that affect our community, one conversation at a time.
The latest episode digs into the many emotions people experience as they live through climate change, along with coping strategies to build hope and personal resilience. Guest speakers include New Vista High School students, climate psychologists, city firefighters and Climate Initiatives Department staff.
“Creating space to talk about difficult emotions, like grief, is an important step toward building a community that can withstand the climate challenges ahead,” said Climate Initiatives Director Jonathan Koehn. “We need to be able to lean on one another, and we hope this episode will inspire more conversations in our community.”
Future podcast episodes will explore topics such as climate justice, circularity and flood mitigation. The podcast is available on major listening platforms, including Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
