About Jennifer
Chief Innovation and Technology Officer
Jennifer Douglas is currently serving as the Chief Innovation and Technology Officer for the City of Boulder. In her prior role Jennifer served as the Deputy Chief Customer Officer for the Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology where she was responsible for delivering an overall planning structure that integrated specific technology needs for each agency into a Statewide strategic IT plan. She also teaches online courses as an adjunct professor for Southern New Hampshire State University, and previously held chief information and innovation officer roles in the private sector before joining state government.
Born in Vermont, Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from University of Northern Vermont, followed by an MBA from Babson College, and a Masters in Data Warehousing and Analytics from Villanova University. She is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program through Colorado State University focused on Organizational Learning, Performance, and Change.
