  • Seeking artists to submit 2D pieces to a juried show on the topic of Exploring Water Through Art. Submissions are due Friday, March 14, 2025. The show opens Friday, May 9, 2025. This show is a collaboration between Friends of the National Center, the UCAR Center for Science Education (SciEd), and the Museum of Boulder. The Exploring Water Through Art pieces will be displayed at the National Science Foundation National Center for Atmospheric Research (NSF NCAR) Mesa Laboratory in Boulder, CO.
  • Boulder Reporting Lab (BRL) is looking for a part-time Food and Drink Reporter to join their team and contribute to our popular culinary coverage in Boulder and Boulder County. Learn more and apply.
  • Chinook Fund Grants are open now through Feb. 13, 2025. Chinook Fund seeds community-led, systemic change by mobilizing resources for and trusting in grassroots social justice organizations across Colorado. Learn more about the opportunity and apply.
  • Applications for CBCA's Advancing Creative Intensive are due by Jan. 17! Topics include goal setting and planning, marketing and promotions, legal issues, and financial management.
  • Denver's Public Art Program is accepting Requests for Qualifications for the Fire Station 40 Public Art Project. Artworks should ask the question “What does the next generation of firefighters look like?” Applications are due Jan. 20.
  • Boulder Ballet is holding auditions for its 2025/26 season! In-person auditions will be held Feb. 14 in New York and Feb. 23 in Boulder. Learn more about Boulder Ballet and the audition process.
  • The Voices of the Wilderness AIR program is offering 10 different residencies next summer in Alaska, hosted by the US Forest Service, US Fish & Wildlife Service, and National Park Service. This is a chance for artists to work on stewardship projects with wilderness specialists in a backcountry setting, while creating art in some of our nation’s most stunning and wild public lands. Applications should be submitted to votw@princewilliamsound.org by 11:59 p.m. Alaska time March 2, 2025.
  • The Boulder Chamber, in collaboration with Boulder County Arts Alliance, seeks to commission a professional local artist, illustrator, or designer to create an original image that it can license for the 2025 Boulder Star Holiday Card, a wine label, and possibly other items, such as a puzzle produced by Liberty Puzzles. The selected artist will receive $1,000 under a license agreement to produce an image reflecting Boulder, with fresh takes on its iconic imagery encouraged. Applications close Jan. 31!
  • Visit Boulder, in partnership with Create Boulder has grant funding opportunities for Boulder events, arts and cultural experiences through the Events, Arts & Culture Grant Program. Applications for events that occur June 1 - Dec. 31, 2025, are due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 31.
  • Applications are now open for the Pearl Street Arts Fest, happening July 18 - 20, 2025. Occurring in the height of the tourist season, Pearl Street Arts Fest typically attracts more than 50,000 attendees. The deadline to apply is Feb. 20, 2025.
  • The Canyon Theater at the Boulder Public Library is now available for community use! The space seats 190 audience members and is free to use for up to 16 hours per month. Events must be free to attend. Learn more and request the space for your next event.
