We invite you to the Folsom Street Safety Improvements Project Open House to provide input toward travel safety improvements on Folsom Street between Pine Street and Colorado Avenue.
Community members can join in person on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 4-6 p.m. at the Penfield Tate II Municipal Building, 1777 Broadway, Boulder, 80302 or online through a virtual open house option open from Jan. 29 through Feb. 19.
Participants at either open house can learn more about the corridor, view input collected so far, and comment on potential street safety improvement options and draft evaluation criteria. These options are informed by work that began in late 2024 to analyze technical data and collect feedback about community concerns, needs and ideas for the future of this important street.
Folsom Street has a history of crashes, particularly involving people driving, with vulnerable road users — people walking, biking and rolling — disproportionately impacted by severe crashes. Folsom Street is also on the city’s High Risk Network where future severe crashes are most likely to occur.
