Though the crowd of about 1,000 to 2,000 individuals acted disorderly, it was not a riot.
Boulder Police officers have now spoken with every business owner in the 1100 block of Pearl Street in relation to the incident that occurred Friday night.
Of the 20 or so businesses, we have taken three reports of property damage from businesses and one report of an injury to an adult female.

Though the crowd of about 1,000 to 2,000 individuals acted disorderly, it was not a riot. When police responded with a large, uniformed presence and gave verbal commands to disperse, most of the crowd—many of whom appeared to be under the influence—left.
At the time of the incident, officers focused on the safety of life in addition to responding to other public safety calls throughout the city.
