Boulder’s Parks and Recreation Department is hiring over 300 community members to fill summer positions, make fun memories, and deliver exciting experiences for our community.
We have a job for anyone looking to make some fun at our recreation centers, pools, the Reservoir, and parks this summer!
We’re hiring now for:
- Lifeguards
- Summer camp counselors
- Recreation center, outdoor pool and Reservoir cashiers
- Athletic program supervisors
- Parks maintenance
- And more!

The department also has positions open for community members as young as 14 years-old, like Ninja Instructor or Junior Ranger Crew member, and as young as 15, like Lifeguard, Water Attraction Attendant, and Recreation Center Cashier. “The services we can offer this year depend upon how successful we are in filling these peak season roles,” said Deputy Director Scott Schuttenberg. “Right now, we’re evaluating staffing and resources to ensure we meet the needs of our community members for the summer.
